Crawling and pulling up!!!

I have been watching my daughter grow and the last few months have been wonderful. She is starting to show her personality. She is laughing and talking and even has starting saying dada – How exciting!!!! In the last days she has even said mama. Jennifer is happy about that. Laneigh is crawling and pulling herself up. There are many times she has fallen over but she is determined to get back up and start all over with dada and mama right there helping her along.

While thinking about Laneigh and her growing and developing I started thinking about how wondering and gracious the Lord is. He helps us develop and grow in him with forgiveness when we fall. He is there to pick us up and dust us off and send uu on our way to try and try again.

Thank you Lord!!

My little girl is getting kissed by the boys - what do I do -

It has been a week sense I last updated and a lot ha happened. I went back to work and was not ready but made it. I also started class again - how fun.

Well, on to the stuff you all look forward to -
Laneigh went back to Kindermusik with Donnis after being off for the holidays and Jennifer was excited a little boy in the class crawled over to Laneigh and started kissing her. Man, daddy will have his hands full when she gets over. The boys will not be able to call or come to the house until she is 25 well maybe 30. :)

What is Kindermusik?

Simply put, Kindermusik is a music and movement program. Each week in class you’ll play, listen, and dance to music that will impact you and your child in profound ways. That’s because every song, story, and two-step has a carefully chosen purpose in this creative curriculum—one that’s designed to stimulate and strengthen the vital neural wiring taking place in your child’s mind, right now. A Kindermusik educator will guide you every step of the way so you know how each activity contributes to your child’s overall growth and development. Kindermusik

This weekend we also went to my Grandma Baker's. My uncle Tommy, his wife and son; my mom; Aunt Shirley and Uncle Mac; Melissa, Stephen and Colin; and Jennifer, Laneigh and I where all there. It was nice. My Aunt Shirley cooked Chicken & Dumplings and it was good. While there Colin and Laneigh was playing with some toys and could not stop laughing it was funny and cute. These kids are fun. Here is a video check it out.

Until next time -

One more day.

One more day of rest.  The new year is here, work and classes start back Monday.  This term I am taking ED 7603 Effective Retention in Higher Education.  The course description says that it will be overview of the fundamentals and best practices of effective student retention in higher education.  I think it will be interesting and not to difficult in the long run.

The past two weeks have been crazy.  Too much relaxing for sure.  I had the chance to spend a lot of time with my baby Laneigh and my wonderful wife, Jennifer.  Laneigh had a great 1st Christmas.  I will be posting Christmas pictures soon.

Are they not beautiful?

Well, I wish everyone the best for the new year and thanks for being apart of our family.

Till next time.

Laneigh's 1st visit the ER.

On Friday, December 12, 2008 Laneigh made her first trip to the ER. She is learning and doing well sitting up on her own. Well, while she was sitting up balancing herself she fell back and rolled over on her left arm. We took her to the ER and found out she pull it our of socket at her elbow. The call it nursemaids elbows http://www.babycenter.com/0_nursemaids-elbow-pulled-elbow_11244.bc

She is doing much better.
